Did you know that it was Video Games Day on 8 July? It’s a day to commemorate 60 years (yes, you heard right) of gaming entertainment and technology. TED has brought together 9 talks on gaming, ranging from animation for gaming to the hot topic of gamification.
If you’re in Toronto, I suggest you check out the amazing exhibition Game On 2.0 at the Ontario Science Centre. It features game design, development, and production including multiplayer games, handheld devices, original concept and character art, and the history’s most influential arcade machines. But be warned, once you enter, you will be there for a couple of hours!
